Exchange Students

As exchange students, meaning students traveling to Uppsala as part of an exchange programme, you sometimes get your housing through the university and sometimes not. If you get your accomodation through the university it is administered by The Housing Office at Akademihotellet thatmanages housing for all exchange students. Most of these rooms are in student corridors in different student areas owned by housing companies.

The student rooms at Ekebyvägen 13, Döbelnsgatan 2 and Lilla Sunnersta are administered directly by the Housing Office, whereas the other rooms are administered by their respective housing companies. Rooms may only be booked by students through their receiving institution - either their department or the International Office. Please note that the group 'exchange students' does not include students on practice exchange. Students doing their practise period in Uppsala are not considered students of the University and are therefore not entitled to student housing.
